An <strong>Olive Ridley turtle<\/strong> was found at Playa Hermosa. She had gone out at night to lay her eggs and looked tired and had some wounds on her fins. <strong>This turtle was probably born here and came back so that her babies would also be from Rocky Point<\/strong>. She was so tired that she was unable to return to sea. The neighbors and visitors informed the authorities who initiated the rescue by calling <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cedo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CEDO Intercultural<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cedo.org\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Photo_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-854 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cedo.org\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Photo_2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"183\" height=\"124\" \/><\/a>We went to examine the turtle, who was exhausted and had minor injuries and who, undoubtedly, needed to rest in a protected place before returning to sea.<\/p>\n<p>The team moved her to our <strong>Agustin Cort\u00e9s Building<\/strong> at the <strong>CEDO campus<\/strong> where she was kept for hours under observation before being released.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;860,855,856,857,859&#8243;][vc_column_text]CEDO&#8217;s team and our family accompanied the turtle back to the sea. <strong>It was an awesome experience for us and our sons and daughters<\/strong>.
